This is circuit is the Silicon version of the Germanium Karma Suture. The Karma Suture is based on the Harmonic Percolator which is a fuzz that produces mostly even order harmonics. Catalinbread adapted and improved the original circuit, reducing noise and expanding its capabilities. What's special about this circuit is that it keeps string to string clarity and full chords can be heard distinctly even at higher gain levels. At low gain settings, it can add a bit of spare to the guitar or it can be used to liven up an otherwise dead sounding over drive. In its thickest most extreme settings it is a brutal sounding fuzz that retains harmony. The silicon version is harsher and more aggressive than the germanium one. I feel, that this makes it better for stacking with overdrives and distortions.
